In short: our tools process your photos, videos and text inside your own browser — we never upload, see or store them. Like most websites, our host keeps basic technical logs, and we use Google AdSense, which uses cookies to show and measure ads. You can control advertising cookies at any time.
1. Who we are
PFPReel (pfpreel.com) is operated by Shenoy Valiyavilayil Thomas, Bristol, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”, “our”). For the purposes of UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), we are the data controller for personal data processed through this website. 2. Content you use with our tools
Images, videos, logos, captions, bios, usernames, numbers and any other content you add to a PFPReel tool are processed locally on your device using HTML Canvas and JavaScript. This content is not transmitted to our servers, and we do not have access to it. It is held only in your browser’s memory and is discarded when you close or reload the page. Files you download are saved directly to your device.
3. Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically records standard server log information, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages requested, referring page and the date and time of the request. This is used to deliver the website, keep it secure, prevent abuse and diagnose technical problems. Logs are retained for a limited period by our host and are not used to identify you personally.
4. Cookies and advertising (Google AdSense)
PFPReel is free because it is supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense to display ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this and/or other sites on the internet. Google may also use cookies and similar technologies to measure ad performance and prevent fraud.

5. Other third-party services
- Hosting and content delivery: the site is hosted by Hostinger, which processes server logs and delivers pages through its CDN.
- Google Fonts: fonts are loaded from Google’s servers, which receive your IP address and browser details to deliver the font files.
- cdnjs (Cloudflare): the QR code tool loads the open-source qrcode.js library from cdnjs.cloudflare.com, which receives standard request data. Your QR link itself is generated locally and is not sent.
- Elementor / WordPress: the website is built with WordPress and Elementor, which may set strictly necessary cookies for site functionality.
6. If you contact us
If you email us, we will receive your email address and anything you include in your message. We use this only to reply to you and keep a record of our correspondence, and we do not add you to any mailing list without your permission.
7. Legal bases for processing
We rely on legitimate interests to operate, secure and improve the website and to respond to enquiries; on your consent for non-essential cookies and personalised advertising where required by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the UK GDPR; and on legal obligation where we must keep or disclose information by law.
8. How long we keep information
Content you use in our tools is never stored by us. Server logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider for security purposes. Emails are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards. Advertising cookies are controlled by Google and our partners according to their own policies and your choices.
9. International transfers
Some of our service providers, such as Google and Cloudflare, may process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where this happens, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, standard contractual clauses or the UK–US data bridge.
10. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct or erase your personal data; to restrict or object to processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, although we would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.
11. Children
PFPReel is a general-audience website and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Most social media platforms require users to be at least 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. Security
The website is served over HTTPS. Because our tools work locally, your images and text are never exposed to our servers. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect the site and any information we hold.
13. Changes to this policy
