Grow offline with a profile QR code
QR codes bridge the real world and your social profiles. Put one on a business card, shop counter, flyer, menu, event badge, product packaging or the last slide of a presentation and people can follow you in one scan — no typing your handle, no spelling mistakes.
This generator creates a static QR code that encodes your profile link directly, so it never expires and doesn’t depend on a third-party redirect service. Codes are generated in your browser with the open-source qrcode.js library, using high error correction so they scan reliably even when printed small.
How to make a QR code for your profile
- Choose the platform — Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X or Any link.
- Enter your username (or paste the full URL for Any link).
- Add your display name, tagline and photo for the card version.
- Pick a card gradient and QR colour — keep the QR dark on a light background for best scanning.
- Download the PNG — either the full shareable card or the QR code on its own.
Where to use your QR card
- Print: business cards, posters, stickers, packaging inserts and table tents.
- Events: conference badges, market stalls and pop-ups.
- Digital: email signatures, slides, YouTube end screens and your website.
- Social: share the card as a Story so friends can scan it from another phone.
Always test the printed code with two or three different phones before ordering a big print run.
QR code best practices
- Contrast is king: dark code, light background. Avoid light-on-dark QR codes.
- Size: print at least 2×2 cm (about 0.8 inches) for close-range scanning; bigger for posters.
- Quiet zone: leave a clear margin around the code.
- Call to action: tell people what they get — “Scan to follow” or “Scan for 10% off”.
💡 Use a fresh avatar from the Profile Picture Maker on your card for a polished, on-brand look.
