Your bio is your 150-character pitch
When someone lands on your profile, your bio is the first thing they read. In a few short lines it needs to explain who you are, why they should follow and what to do next. Instagram gives you 150 characters, TikTok just 80 — so every word counts.
This bio generator uses proven structures for different tones. Fill in your role, location, audience and call to action, and it assembles several bios you can copy as-is or tweak. Blank lines are preserved with invisible characters, so the layout survives pasting.
How to write your bio with the generator
- Pick your niche and the platform (character limits update automatically).
- Choose a tone: aesthetic, funny, professional or inspirational.
- Fill in the details — your role, location, who you help, how you help and your call to action.
- Generate and read through the options; edit any bio directly in its box.
- Copy your favourite and paste it into Edit profile → Bio.
Bio formulas that work
- Who + what + CTA: “Travel creator ✈️ | Budget trips in Europe | 👇 Free guide”.
- Help statement: “I help [audience] [result]” — ideal for coaches and businesses.
- Personality first: a short joke or quirk that makes you memorable.
- Aesthetic minimal: lower-case words, symbols and lots of white space.
Whichever you choose, include keywords people might search for in your Name field, and point to one clear next step — your link, your latest video or your DMs.
Bio mistakes to avoid
- Listing everything you’ve ever done — focus on what matters to followers.
- Vague phrases like “living my best life” with no niche.
- No call to action, or a link with no explanation.
- Walls of emoji that make the text hard to read.
